BJ Zellers was attending an Executive Women’s Golf Association event one day and found herself part of an interesting conversation.
It was during lunch when BJ, an avid golfer and experienced business woman, commented on how frustrating it was to find top-quality women’s golf apparel. Before she knew it, her seemingly simple comment turned into a lively and lengthy discussion. Unanimously, women around the table agreed with her. Invariably, each and every one wished for a better way to shop for golf gear.
With that the idea for Shop & Putt, a national network of in-home demonstrations of top-quality golf apparel, was born. Drawing on over 20 years of experience in the consumer products industry, BJ decided to create a new way for women golfers to get the clothing and equipment they want, need and deserve. She also set out to provide fulfilling and rewarding income opportunities for women around the country.
Through Shop & Putt, women golfers can purchase top-of-the-line golf apparel, equipment and accessories for men, women and children. Simultaneously, they can enhance their social and business connections.
Women who come on board as Shop & Putt Consultants organize, develop and maintain independent businesses according to their own needs. All consultants have the opportunity to maximize their own sales, create their own schedules and benefit from a competitive compensation package and reward system. Several different levels of field management are available, so each woman can aim for the one that matches her own degree of entrepreneurial ambition. Shop & Putt provides the training, tools and support and our team of women entrepreneurs take it from there.
Shop & Putt is proud to have established a relationship with the Executive Women’s Golf Association (EWGA) . The EWGA is a national organization with over 18,000 members, many whom are avid golfers.
Shop & Putt is a subscriber with the Direct Selling Association (DSA) and is committed to following the DSA Code of Ethics and Integrity.
Shop & Putt is a subdivision of BJ Zeller’s 10-year-old parent company, Turn Key Events, Inc., (TKE, Inc.) an event management company.
